Canines, Cats & Critters USVI is a full-service veterinary hospital with a team that strives to provide compassionate, personalized care to all patients.

We have a simple idea that our clients and their pets receive the same care and attention that we ourselves would hope to find.

  • Fully-stocked pharmacy and large selection of medications, and competitively-priced monthly flea/tick/worm (parasite) preventatives

We provide conscientious, professional medical care and whether you’re a new client (or already part of the CCCUSVI family), feel free to stop in for a tour of the office and to speak with one of our caring and knowledgeable team members.

Boarding & Daycare

The St. John location offers both doggie daycare (8:30AM - 4:30PM) and overnight stays and features a large shaded play yard area for dogs.

DOGS

  • Dogs are housed in our spacious outdoor kennels protected from the elements. The larger kennels have an adjoining door option, ideal for a family stay

  • Every kennel features a raised, platform Kuranda bed to keep your pet dry, comfortable and cool

  • Dogs are walked by dedicated team members at least three times per day, given exercise, social time and personal attention in our spacious play yard

CATS

  • Cats are housed indoors in a separate room (away from dogs) in large “cat condos” and each provided with their own soft bedding and a clean litter box daily

  • Cats are allowed some free-roam time (outside their condos) and receive lots of love and attention daily

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS

  • All pets must be current on their vaccinations, have a fecal examination within one year and receive regular parasite prevention (heartworm/intestinal worm/flea/tick).

  • Dogs: DA2PP, Leptospirosis, Bordetella (Kennel Cough), Rabies and have received a heartworm test within 1 year.

  • Cats: FVRCP, FELV, Rabies and have received an FIV / FELV test

  • All pets are fed Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and Skin formula twice daily, but we welcome you to provide your own food if your pet has special needs

TRANSPORTATION

Dogs who reside on St. Thomas may board at our St. John location and we can arrange for their safe transport to-from each office location. Please contact us for details.

Grooming & Retail

GROOMING

Our creative groomers are available for custom cut combinations making each sweet soul look unique and feeling their very best.

  • BASIC BATH: Aloe & oatmeal bath, blow dry

  • BATH PLUS: Aloe & oatmeal bath, blow dry, nail trim, ear clean, anal glands and brushing

  • FULL GROOM: Aloe & oatmeal bath, blow dry, haircut, light de-matting, nail trim, ear clean, anal glands and brushing

  • SPA DAY: Foot-soaked bath with shampoo and conditioner of choice, blow dry, haircut, light de-matting, nail trim, ear clean, anal glands, brushing, foot pad cream, tear stain treatment, perfume of choice

PET SUPPLIES AND RETAIL

A variety of prescription diets, healthy specialty foods, food dishes, beds, toys, treats, chews, leashes, harnesses, collars and custom name tags, pet litter, life jackets, carriers, kennels, grooming supplies and special order items.
